The Future of Speaking
COMMUNITY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective 2 October 2026
Powered by Brimbravo Private Representation
1. Purpose and application
These Community Terms & Conditions apply to all private member community spaces operated or designated for The Future of Speaking, including Facebook and any other community, discussion, networking or member platform that we choose to make available to Core Members from time to time.
For these Community Terms, “community” means all member-only community spaces we designate as part of Core Membership, whether hosted on Facebook or on any other platform we choose to add, use, replace or migrate to in the future. The same conduct and moderation rules apply across all such community spaces.
The community is provided as part of Core Membership for eligible active members. Community access is conditional on compliance with these Community Terms, our main Terms & Conditions, and the rules of the third-party platform hosting the community.
The Future of Speaking is operated by BrimbleCorp Pty Ltd trading as Brimbravo (ABN 34 637 082 323, ACN 637 082 323).
2. What the community is for
The community exists for commercially useful discussion, opportunity sharing, industry intelligence, practical support, networking and the responsible exchange of ideas between members.
It is not a public advertising board, lead-harvesting database, political campaign forum, grievance page or place to target other members with unwanted sales activity.
3. Expected member conduct
Members are expected to:
- communicate professionally and treat other members with basic respect;
- disagree with ideas without attacking, threatening or humiliating people;
- keep discussions reasonably relevant to speaking, expertise, business, commercial opportunities and the purpose of the community;
- use truthful information when describing credentials, experience, results, affiliations or commercial offers;
- respect another member's privacy, intellectual property and confidential information;
- obtain consent before adding another member to mailing lists, messaging campaigns or ongoing promotional contact; and
- follow reasonable moderator directions intended to protect the community or keep discussion useful.
4. Conduct that is not permitted
You must not use the community to:
- harass, threaten, bully, abuse, intimidate or repeatedly target another person;
- post discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, deceptive or unlawful content;
- publish another person's private or confidential information without authority;
- impersonate another person or materially misrepresent your identity, credentials, results or commercial relationships;
- spam the group, repeatedly self-promote, or dominate discussion with unsolicited promotional material;
- send unsolicited bulk direct messages, scrape member details, harvest contact information or build marketing lists from the community;
- recruit, pitch, sell to or repeatedly contact members who have not indicated that they are open to that contact;
- copy, export, republish or redistribute member-only discussions, resources, opportunity information or member data for an external database, competing service or commercial list;
- run scams, deceptive offers, unlawful solicitations or misleading investment, employment or business opportunities;
- upload malware, malicious links, automated scraping tools or content that creates a security risk;
- deliberately disrupt discussions, provoke conflict, evade moderation or return through another account after suspension or removal; or
- use the community in a way that materially damages the safety, privacy, security or legitimate commercial interests of members, Brimbravo or The Future of Speaking.
5. Networking and member-to-member business
Members may network, collaborate and choose to do business with each other. We do not prohibit genuine member-to-member commercial relationships.
However, the community is not permission to mass-solicit members. A member should have a reasonable basis to believe that contact is welcome before using the community to initiate a sales, recruitment or promotional approach.
Any transaction between members is between those members. Brimbravo and The Future of Speaking are not a party to, guarantor of, or responsible for a separate agreement between members unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
6. Confidentiality, screenshots and privacy
The community is private, but privacy cannot be guaranteed simply because a group is closed or member-only.
Members must not intentionally publish, circulate or use another member's private contact details, confidential business information, private messages or non-public personal information without permission.
Screenshots or quotations from the community must not be used publicly in a way that identifies another member without that member's permission, unless disclosure is required by law.
Do not post information that you are not authorised to disclose or that would create a material problem if another member saw or retained it.
7. Moderation
Brimbravo may moderate the community to protect members, maintain quality, enforce these Community Terms and support the legitimate operation of The Future of Speaking.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- edit or remove posts or comments;
- close comments or limit participation in a discussion;
- issue a private or public moderator direction;
- mute or temporarily suspend a member;
- remove a member from the community;
- restrict access to particular community functions; or
- for serious material breaches, terminate the member's wider Future of Speaking membership in accordance with the main Terms & Conditions.
We may choose the response that is reasonably proportionate to the conduct. We are not required to use every moderation step before taking stronger action.
8. Immediate removal for serious misconduct
We may remove or suspend a member immediately, without first issuing a warning, where we reasonably consider the conduct to involve serious misconduct or an immediate risk to members, the platform or third parties.
Examples may include:
- credible threats, serious harassment or targeted abuse;
- fraud, scams, deliberate deception or impersonation;
- doxxing or serious privacy breaches;
- unlawful scraping, bulk harvesting or redistribution of member information;
- malware, account compromise or other security threats;
- serious intellectual-property misuse;
- repeated evasion of previous moderation or suspension; or
- other conduct that creates a substantial safety, legal, security or commercial risk.
9. Repeated or lower-level breaches
For conduct that is less serious, we may choose to warn the member, remove content, mute participation or impose a temporary suspension.
Repeated conduct after a warning, or a pattern of behaviour that individually appears minor but collectively disrupts the community, may result in permanent removal.
10. Removal, membership fees and refunds
Community access is a conditional part of Core Membership. A member who loses community access because of their own breach of these Community Terms does not obtain an automatic right to a refund, credit or partial refund merely because moderation or removal has occurred.
Where only community access is removed, we may allow the member to continue accessing other parts of Core Membership, depending on the seriousness of the conduct and the circumstances.
Where conduct amounts to a serious or repeated material breach of the main Terms & Conditions, we may terminate the wider membership. A termination for the member's serious material breach does not ordinarily create a change-of-mind refund entitlement for the remaining membership period.
Nothing in this clause excludes, restricts or modifies any refund, cancellation, consumer guarantee or other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
11. Access to member assets after removal
If only community access is removed, any continuing access to other membership resources will be determined under the main Terms & Conditions and the member's active membership status.
If the wider membership is terminated for serious material breach, access to member-only databases, templates, market intelligence and other source resources may end when termination takes effect.
Any right to continue using a completed or materially customised document previously created from an authorised member template is governed by the intellectual-property provisions in the main Terms & Conditions.
12. Moderator decisions and review
Moderation decisions are made in good faith based on the information reasonably available to us at the time.
A member who has been permanently removed or whose wider membership has been terminated may request one review by emailing Team@brimbravo.com within 7 days of being notified of the decision.
The request should briefly explain why the member believes the decision should be reconsidered and provide any relevant information. A review request does not automatically restore access while the review is being considered.
We may uphold, vary or reverse the decision after review.
13. Third-party platform rules
Where any part of the community is hosted on Facebook or another third-party service, members must also comply with that platform's applicable terms, standards and account rules.
A third-party platform may independently remove content, restrict accounts or suspend access. We do not control those independent platform decisions.
We may add, remove, replace or migrate community platforms as the Core Membership develops. If a platform becomes unsuitable or unavailable, we may move the relevant community activity to another reasonably comparable platform.
14. Content posted by members
Members remain responsible for content they post. Posting content does not mean Brimbravo endorses, verifies or adopts the member's statement, offer or opinion.
We may remove content that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, off-topic, unsafe, commercially inappropriate or inconsistent with these Community Terms.
Member-contributed opportunities or resources may be moderated, categorised, edited for clarity or redistributed within the member platform in accordance with the main Terms & Conditions.
15. Changes to these Community Terms
We may update these Community Terms as the community, platform or legal requirements develop.
Material changes affecting member rights or obligations will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights that cannot lawfully be removed.
16. Relationship with the main Terms
These Community Terms supplement the main Future of Speaking Terms & Conditions. If there is an inconsistency, the main Terms & Conditions apply unless these Community Terms expressly impose a more specific rule for community participation.
Nothing in these Community Terms creates a right to representation by Brimbravo, a guarantee of business opportunities, or a guarantee that the community will remain on any particular third-party platform.
